Thanks to this game, players are immersed in the role of a journalist who dreams of landing a job in a journalism agency in San Francisco. In order to prove themselves, players will collect words as they travel through the city and insert them into a newspaper article to be written at the end of the journey.
The 2 levels offered may be suitable from CM2 to 3rd or even beyond. The words chosen are mainly tool words, often neglected by our patients in their written productions. The questions address spelling particularities and appeal to the mental image of words.

Players must deliver customer orders by writing sentences containing a prescribed word.

The 13 boards offered each address a different orthographic particularity: invariable words, spellings of the sound è, spellings of the sound an, double consonants, spellings of the sound o, silent letters, words always taking a final -s, spellings of the sound in, irregular words , spellings of sound s, spellings of sound f, spellings of sound é, accents .
The panel of patients targeted is therefore very large.

It is also possible to work on the oral lexicon by inventing sentences orally and not in writing.

Simple and visual proofreading method to allow dysorthographic patients to be able to select what they need to check during their proofreading.

  • Tour Guide

This support aims to place the patient in a situation of written production of more or less constrained sentences.

Players must then travel through a city and stop at points of interest in order to validate their passage by stamping their passport. The first player to arrive at the finish line with their passport fully stamped is declared the winner.

The 3 boards allow you to choose the city you wish to visit during the game.

The words proposed come from the Dubois-Buyse spelling scale and are aimed at middle school students.
