This guide covers 14 phonemes and allows you to work on articulation in the different positions of the sound.

For each phoneme, 4 activities are proposed:

  • 4 word cards to repeat
  • 1 sound discrimination/localization sheet
  • 1 lotto game mixing the different positions of the sound
  • 1 set of pairs including all positions of the phoneme

These sheets can be offered during a rehabilitation session but also sent to the patient in order to set up training at home.

  • Alice in the land of articulation

This game allows the production of target phoneme(s) in words. The players move around the board and must articulate the word drawn on the card. If the articulation is correct, they stay where they arrived. If it isn't, they go back where they came from.

The images are classified by sound and group together different locations of the sound in the word. The decks of cards can be mixed according to the therapeutic objective sought.

The following 14 phonemes are covered in the game: p, t, k, b, d, g, f, s, ch, v, z, j, l, r.

  • Look for the sound!

This material can be used in different ways:
  • Phonemic discrimination : identify the words in which the target sound(s) appear placed in the middle of the page. Oppositional work is then possible.
  • Phonemic localization : using different colored markers, color the images according to the location of the target sound in the word.
  • Articulation : search the page for words containing the phoneme worked on in order to articulate it well.
  • Enrichment of the lexical stock and categorization : name the images present on the page or color them according to their semantic group.
This support is offered in 2 configurations (full version OR light version) and each in 2 versions (black and white OR color). Thus the light version will be preferred for use with the youngest or with patients with an attention disorder and the full version will be offered to more comfortable or taller patients. As for the black and white version, it will be used if the colors constitute too strong a distraction for the patient or if the use of markers is desired.
